PRESCHOOL CLOSING POLICY
The Park District Preschool follows District 15’s policy on weather related closures, and will be closed when they are. Please check the radio, TV stations or www.ccsd15.net for school closures. Also, Salt Creek may cancel classes due to extreme cold or snow conditions. In the event school is cancelled due to unpredictable circumstances, we will notify you personally. Our preschool will follow District 15 snow days up to 4 days. After 4 days, weather related closures will be made up based on the yearly schedule. You will be notified of any make-up days at least 30 days prior.
SCHOOLS DAY OUT – SCHOOL CLOSURE DAYS
If District 15 announces a school closure for the following day, and if that announcement comes before 3:30pm on a Monday-Friday, the Salt Creek Park District will attempt to run a Schools Day Out at the Salt Creek Sports Center
- Cost: $32(R)/$34(NR)
- Ages: 6-12 years old
- Emails will be sent out to age appropriate lists (who have participated in our programs previously) and a notice will be posted on the website if this program is being offered.
- Registration can be done the day of but the park district must be emailed (rjachowske@saltcreekpd.com) if you plan on having your child attend, so we can staff the program accordingly
- The program will only run if we have six or more children attending
